Queiroz backed to replace Alex

Carlos Queiroz is in line to be the next Manchester United boss. Old Trafford chief Alex Ferguson says he will retire within three years. And No 2 Queiroz could be the man to fill Fergie’s shoes. United chief executive David Gill said: "We have an assistant manager who will be very much in the frame in Carlos Queiroz. He’s a key part of our success. Look at what Liverpool achieved in their successful years during the 70s and 80s. That was through internal appointments.”
