Giggs: We can rule for years
As a veteran of nine Premier League title triumphs with Manchester United, Ryan Giggs knows better than anyone what it takes to achieve sustained success. And as Giggs closes in this season on a 10th league title, the 34-year-old revealed his belief that Sir Alex Ferguson's current side can rule English football for years to come. "I don't see why this team can't dominate for the next few years," said Giggs yesterday while at United's Carrington training complex. "Everything is in place for that to happen. It just depends whether the younger players have the hunger and desire to keep on winning trophies, but I'm sure that's the case."

Anderson: Barca is my cup final
Anderson, who has become an integral member of United's squad since signing last summer, is relishing the challenge of testing himself against one of the world's best teams.
"It is like a final for me," he declared. "Playing against Barcelona is the most important game of my life - it is like the final of the Champions League.
"In fact, I think it is a sort of final as we are the two teams with the best record in this season's competition."
The Brazilian midfielder says he is loving life at Old Trafford and admits he's never worked as hard in his career.
"You have to think about football 24 hours a day here," he says. "We have a great squad, but the one difference is that you work a lot more here. I have never worked so hard before as the training sessions are very tough.
"I joined United straight after playing in the Copa America with Brazil and the contrast was difficult, but that is normal. It was the same when I went to Porto. Cristiano Ronaldo has helped me a lot to adapt and others like [Patrice] Evra, [Michael] Carrick, [Wes] Brown and [Gerard] Pique have all made life easier. I'm very happy."

No gifts from Santa
Roque Santa Cruz has warned United that they will not get an easy ride at Ewood Park on Saturday as Blackburn look to keep their slim chances of UEFA Cup qualification alive.
Mark Hughes' side lie ninth in the table, 10 points adrift of Everton, who currently occupy the all important fifth spot.
United on the other hand know victory over their Lancashire rivals would edge them to within three points of the title, but Santa Cruz insists Blackburn have just as much to play for.
"We have nothing against Manchester United winning the league, but we are in need of points to get closer into Europe," he declared.
"That's our ambition, but there's few games left, so for me this game against United is like a cup final.
"If we want to keep the pressure on Aston Villa, Portsmouth and Everton, we need to get a result."

Ronaldo: So close to the title
Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that victory at Ewood Park against Blackburn on Saturday would set United up to retain the title.
The Reds currently lead Chelsea by five points with four games to go and Ronaldo feels another United win at the weekend would make it very difficult for the second-placed side.
"We are in a good position now," Ronaldo told MUTV. "When Chelsea dropped points after we won against Arsenal it was fantastic for us."
Ronaldo knows Mark Hughes' Blackburn side are a significant obstacle as the title run-in reaches its climax, but the 23-year-old winger is in ebullient mood.
"Blackburn will be a tough game, but if we win we have a good chance to win the title. There are only four games left and there is a lot of pressure. But my confidence is high."
