Giggs lauds Reds' form

United are steadily improving as the season unfolds, Ryan Giggs warned after the Reds' emphatic 4-2 victory against Dynamo Kyiv.

Aside from September's Carling Cup defeat to Coventry, United have now won 10 straight matches and, more worryingly for opponents, the goals have started flowing again, with 12 plundered in the Reds' last three outings.

"We dominated this match because today we were stronger as a team and individually," said Giggs. "Maybe the home side were a bit unlucky because we are in very good form.

"Dynamo are not an easy team to play and they've shown it, but if you take our season we're improving constantly."

United are now on the brink of qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages, but Giggs has called for the Reds to maintain their fine form and ensure qualifcation by beating Kyiv again in a fortnight.

"I think that we are close to qualifying early," said the veteran winger. "But for this we need to play as well at home as we did today."
