And relieved boss Fergie admitted: “When you are still 1-0 down with a few minutes to go you do think you are going to lose. But give credit to the players. We kept battling and battling and we deserved the point for our perseverance. We created a lot of chances but their keeper made a few decent saves, and when the ball isn’t going in you do start to wonder if it isn’t going to be your night. But no complaints - we’ve qualified, and that’s the main thing.”
